Facepainting day in Victoria Park, Bow, East London

What a lovely day I spent facepainting in the park by the steam fairground attraction. Families seemed to really enjoy it and even some of the parents wanted to have it done too!

I traveled down to South London to Catford to do a facepainting party - it was the for the sister of a family who hired me last year. It's feels really nice and encouraging when people see your work and want to hire you.






Because I painted these 2 as underwater their mum showed them salsa dancing and they made up their own "water salsa dance" which they performed to us all. Children love getting in character.



It's a sunny day - I think I might go face-painting in Victoria Park today!

Lizzie's family festival in Kent

I was invited along to my friends family garden party to entertain the children by doing big paintings with them and to face paint all the guests. We did this painting for Lizzie's mum by candlelight!

Mini-makeover and jewellery making party in Ealing

An 11 year olds birthday party in the garden. We sat in the sun, painted tattoos on each other, did our hair and make up, and made bracelets, rings and necklaces. We also listened to music and had a good gossip!

Bow library kids art activity - making a Chinese New Year Dragon

This is an example of a half term art activity workshop I did for children at the Bow Ideas Store recently. The children made and decorated a dragon's head with a fabric body and then paraded it around! It was a great activity because all the kids of different ages could get involved with the art, and it's such a fantastic visual effect once it was all finished. There's even a video here!
