Vicky and Emma ran a Harry Potter inspired birthday party at our house for our 8 year old daughter and we couldn’t have been happier. The activities for the children were fun and engaging, the face paint was a hit and every child had a beautiful creation to take home, in addition to the birthday girl receiving a canvas decorated by all her friends (which now has a special place above her bed)! Everything went really smoothly because they were so well-organised. We loved the personal feel of the party and Emma and Vicky managed to make all the kids feel at ease and confident as well as creating a really special day for the birthday girl. Emma and Vicky are absolutely fantastic. They are really passionate about art and crafts and have so much patience with the kids. My daughter has been going to the holiday club and has come home with some really creative and impressive art work. Would highly recommend their workshops/holiday clubs.

Make Me An Art Star came to our house and created a fabulous Harry Potter magical themed art party for our 6 year old daughter. There were nearly 20 children and Victoria and Emma had a great set up keeping them entertained with face painting on arrival then creating beautiful artwork and potions which they could all take home with them. The children also helped to paint a big canvas which had an exciting reveal element to it and was something our daughter could keep from all her friends. The thought and preparation that went into the party was exceptional and minimal mess as they made sure surfaces were covered. All the children were raving about it and we were very happy. Would highly recommend.

As soon as I had booked Vicky and Emma, I knew I was in safe hands. They were so warm and communicative and really happy to chat through what I wanted for my 5 year old birthday party.
On the day they arrived in plenty of time and worked together to make the most of the space we were using and get everything set up. They also made a real fuss of my little girl when she arrived and got to know her. As the guests arrived, they were all greeted individually and instantly given an activity to get involved with. They really had the knack of making all the kids feel at ease and getting them to embrace the nature of the party.

The activities which were prepared for them (name tag making, mirror necklaces, hair clips) were so well prepared and the attention to detail was stunning. They were all very unique and it wasn’t just colouring or sticking. Every kid made something so individual that they would be able to take home. They also all participated in making a gorgeous piece of artwork for Esther which was such a lovely touch and means that we talk about the party loads at home as we have such a brilliant memento. The whole operation of setting up and packing away between each activity was super slick, plus all the kids got to take turns in having their face expertly painted. It was great that there wasn’t an endless queue for it with kids getting impatient.
At the end of the afternoon, Vicky and Emma took lots of care and attention to get everything packed up, and all the parents were commenting on what a calm and relaxed party it was without any hyped up kids!! The whole experience was so lovely that I will definitely be booking them again for my youngest, as soon as she can hold a paintbrush!!

My daughter attended one of the summer workshops in August.
She had an amazing couple of days. It was all so well organised and at the end of the two day project she came home with a lovely folder of all her work and the final piece was a little character/creature she had created.
As one of the younger attendees and a little apprehensive at first she was confident to stay after Victoria and Emma were very reassuring and engaging.
It was a hit and I wouldn’t think twice about booking again or recommending them.
The face painting was also awesome. A great creative team.

I just wanted to feedback to you how much my son enjoyed your art club over the Feb half term.
It’s rare for him to come away feeling inspired and enthused (I was ready for yet another ‘it was so boooring’) but he was so happy with the experience, I thought it would be worth letting you know!
