This time it's all about the wonderful world of paint... Abstract mark-making, layering shapes, colours and textures, patterns and lettering, combining different styles and techniques. Our Art Stars' final art piece for each day will be a set of paintings on wood.

As well as being inspired by famous historical artists such as Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollock and John Pule, we will also be inspired by local and contemporary artists such as Matthew Webber, Tim J Fowler, and Debbie Taylor-Kerman, and the bright lights of God's Own Junkyard.

There will also be a large communal piece of art created throughout the day which we will later enter to the Royal Academy's Young Artists' Summer Show. 

Exhibiting our Art Stars' creations has become a proud addition to what we do. It gives them the opportunity and confidence to become real exhibiting artists.
